Vention Gradient Pocket 5000mAh Review

 

 

Here is another power bank from Vention, a reputable maker of computer hardware and accessories. They sent this over to try together with their wireless 10000mAh power bank.

 

This one is a lipstick-size 5000 mAh that can charge 20w via either lightning or USB-C ports.

This comes with a built-in cable for both apple devices still in lightning and then Usb-C for the rest of us. It can take charge and give charge both ways. Specs listed below for reference:

The lanyard is made of braided type of material which makes it more durable. It's a flat cable style with USB-C and lightning on each end. I wouldn't dangle this over a bag or make it a keychain, the USB-C is easier to be accidentally unplugged than the lightning connector.

 

This is a nice secondary backup power for powering devices on-the-go. It will charge your phone for an extra full charge and that's it. If you feel you need more, then you might need to go with the10000mah - it packs more juice but at the expense of a bit more space and weight.
