GoPro just announced the successor to their last GoPro Hero 4 – the New GoPro Hero 5. This all-new device features a 2-inch touch display and shoots 4k up to 30fps and 1080p at 120fps as well as 12 megapixel photos. The device also has a built-in GPS and supports voice commands. Hero 5 is not waterproof out of the box (up to 10 meters / 33 feet).
Hero5 Black is going on sale on October 2nd for $399 (or just around 20,000 pesos)
This is their new DJI Phantom competitor – the Karma drone. This quadcopter is foldable and very compact that it can fit to almost any standard backpacks. The Karma drone has a 3-axis stabilizer that can be removed from the drone and mounted to a grip to be used on non-aerial shots.
The Karma will be sold with the following options:
- Karma drone + Hero 5 = $1,099
- Karma drone + hero 5 Session = $999
- Karma drone only = $799
The Karma will be available on October 23rd but will be up for orders on October 2nd.
